Kate Eardly
Kate Eardly is a seasoned executive with two decades of experience spanning sales, HR leadership, business operations, and global strategy. Today, she leads strategic initiatives for global teams around the world, but her most defining role is that of mother and advocate.
When her daughter Birdie was diagnosed with a life-threatening condition before birth, Kate’s world shifted. What followed was a journey of relentless advocacy, countless hospital stays, and deep faith. It was also a journey marked by unexpected isolation, even while surrounded by friends and family. That experience ignited a calling.
Through Birdie’s Hope Foundation, Kate is channeling her professional expertise and personal mission into building something that brings life, purpose, and hope to families facing the unimaginable. For her, this isn’t just a passion, it’s a promise to other families that they are not alone.

Jay Eardly
Jay is Birdie’s father and co-founder of Birdie’s Hope Foundation. Through Birdie’s life, often at the darkest moments, he has been witness to the healing power of God, the blessing of family and the strength of community. His purpose with Birdie’s Hope Foundation is that as many families as possible know and experience these same blessings.
Jay is an executive with a large global HR outsourcing firm. His experience includes sales, client service delivery and operations management, but his greatest passion is people leadership. In the community Jay volunteers at the family’s church, coaches youth sports and is a member of F3.

Ariana Hardiman
Ariana is Birdie’s aunt and has known her all her life. Through Sloane, from when she was in the womb to now, she has witnessed the power of prayer firsthand. Sloane’s strength is a true reflection of her name—warrior—and a reminder of resilience and grace.
A photographer and curator with a BFA in Photography, Ariana has spent over a decade telling stories through fine art, editorial, and brand work. Since launching her business in 2013, she’s expanded her creative practice to include content creation and visual strategy, and is now the co-founder of JOYCE—a design-forward agency she built with her sister and husband to help brands share their stories with authenticity and intention.
Ariana is also a mother of four, and her family’s mental, physical, and spiritual health remains her greatest inspiration.

Paige Richardson
Paige and her family have known Birdie for most of her life, and watched firsthand her resilience and strength as she grows up with an adversity that most children will never know.
Paige is the CEO/Owner of Paige Richardson Styling. After spending almost two decades as a former fashion industry executive, she decided to create her own dream job and launched PRS - blending everything she loved about retail with the personalization of working with women and curating bespoke wardrobes to bring out their daily best.
She is a lover of fashion, feeling good in both her skin and wardrobe, and her family. She is based in Charlotte with her husband and two young daughters, Lanie and Georgia.
